Abstract

Like a conveyor belt whose constant motion subjects factory workers to their task, each blank space on this issue of La Perruque offers the opportunity for a brief moment of escape and reflection. The technical lexicon used by the worker — chiseling, milling, chamfering — are interspersed with the spaces for resistance opened up by the “perruquier” or “wigmaker” (the term used to describe a worker who uses his company’s tools, materials and time for his own profit). These microscopic cracks allow the worker to emancipate himself from the injunctions of work, and offer as many possibilities of “wig-making” among the nuts and bolts of the Kreuz conveyor belt.

Sorry, there is no documentation for this one ;)
